A 6,000-square-metre crop circle appeared in a farmer’s field in the Czech Republic town of Boskovice on Saturday, June 28, 2014.
According to The Croatian Times, the crop circle consists of a 4-pointed star, framed by a circle with mysterious Stonehenge-shaped blocks set in a smaller circle.
Despite creating a mini tourism boom in the region, the furious land owner Jan Karlik, 55, is at least one person who isn't impressed by the crop circle, who says it has caused USD 1,000 of damage and who is demanding justice.
Mr. Karlik: "I don't care where they were from, even if they are aliens, they need to be made to pay."
A local resident, who visited the circle said: "It seems quite suspicious to me. Most people round here think it was done by human hands although nobody's really sure exactly who was to blame."
Police say they are keeping an open mind and local government spokesperson Iva Sebkova said: "Extraterrestrial civilizations and the influence of air vortices are not excluded, but we are currently concentrating on looking for human culprits."
